Mrs. Hunter Named Top Teacher by National Council of Social Studies |

Congratulations to our own Sally Hunter, who has been named one of the top teachers in the nation!
The National Council for Social Studies chose Mrs. Hunter as its Outstanding Elementary Social Studies Teacher of the Year.
Mrs. Hunter will receive the award and a check for $2500 at the NCSS conference in November. The award recognizes exceptional social studies teachers in three categories: grades K through 6th, 5th through 8th, and 7th through 12th.

School's Out for Summer But Craig O's HP Support is Still in Session
Seems like we Scotties eat a lot of pizza! Craig O's Pizza's new "Receipt in the Box" fundraising promotion is a success. This week Craig O's generously donated $70 as a result of just the first five weeks of this new program. And the better news is that they will continue the fund raising through the summer. All you have to do is place your Craig O's receipts in the red Highland Park box every time you dine-in or carry out. When you order for delivery, ask the friendly Craig O's employee to place your receipt in the Highland Park box for you. Eat delicious pizza and raise money for our school -- that's all there is to it!
