Become an HP MATH Fluency Center Volunteer!
WHAT WE ARE
The MATH Fluency Center is a volunteer program that offers math fact support outside of the classroom. The MATH Fluency Center provides a structured one-on-one environment for students to develop efficient mental strategies for math fact retrieval (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts) through the use of games, activities and conceptual flashcards.
WHO WE ARE
We consist of trained parent volunteers who use a set curriculum designed to develop students’ abilities to automatically and accurately recall the basic facts. We ask that volunteers work with students each week for one hour to develop consistency. The program will begin in October with volunteer training.
